A perfect day in the valley (in spite of the weather)

What a fantastic morning bringing our community together for a walk through the Ampleforth countryside. From great conversation to shared discoveries (and a well-earned lunch!), it was wonderful to see so many enjoying time outdoors together.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and especially to Jonathan Pomroy for his inspiring guidance and generosity in sharing both his knowledge and these beautiful images captured on film.  It was a delight to discover so many birds and wildlife as a result of his expertise. 

This is just the beginning of our local society walks, and we’re already looking ahead to more seasonal walks. The next one is the Wass to Bunting Walk on the 16th May. Book here
