Society 150th Celebration - 3-5 October 2025

You are invited by the Trustees of the Ampleforth Society, the Headmaster of Ampleforth College and the Abbot of Ampleforth Abbey to a spectacular weekend at Ampleforth to celebrate 150 years of The Ampleforth Society.

The theme of the weekend is "Ampleforth: Agents of Change" - celebrating all that Ampleforth fosters in those that come into contact with this place. Offering an array of world class speakers, opportunities to support current students for their futures, participate in the Society Schola Cantorum, join a Retreat and spiritual activities, challenge the Headmaster at Chess, reconnect with the Monastic Community and former teachers, explore the rich artistic heritage and beauty of the valley, enjoy many social opportunities and ending, as it should, by joining together at High Mass on Sunday with the school, celebrated by Abbot Robert Igo.

There is something on offer for all those with a connection to Ampleforth - Parents, Old Amplefordians, Former Staff, Friends, Benefactors and Pupils - to leave inspired, rejuvenated and connected to a global community of impact - all while having a lot of fun.

To find out more and to register to secure your spot for the events you want to participate in, please follow the navigation below. Registrations close on Sunday 21 September.
