John Dick (O77)
Treasurer
John retired recently after a long career in banking in the City of London, specialising in trade finance and risk. He travelled extensively, and specialised in complex markets, including Iran, Nigeria and China. He became a Trustee of the Ampleforth Society in 2024. He has been involved with the Ampleforth Pilgrimage to Lourdes since he left school, including a spell as Treasurer; he is a Titulaire Member of the Hospitalité de Notre Dame de Lourdes and is a Trustee and Treasurer of the British Hospitalité Trust. He was formerly Treasurer for the OACC and was both Treasurer and then Chairman of the OARFC, and is now a vice President of the OACC and President of OARFC.
