Kieran, whom I knew but slightly in the school, but whose company I enjoyed, was the subject of a beautiful death notice in The Times, 29/01/22. Written, presumably, by his widow, it bears recording more permanently:
"Loving husband of Francesca and much loved brother, uncle and great uncle, as well as hero to countless friends. Peerless raconteur, irresistible charmer and inspirational musician, who leaves us all now in a duller place."
