Message for Alastair Campbell (T 71).

Al, I was sorry to see the news of your father's death. I only met him once, some years ago at Ampleforth, where he was attending a Knights of Malta retreat. He was charming company and told me a funny story about you which I'll tell you when we (hopefully) meet.

I am Bob’s son (T71). His date of death was 2 Aug 19. Grateful this could be changed, if only for the concern of accuracy! He was a great father who always showed his love for his family, putting us all above everything, except perhaps, occasionally, fishing! He asked and expected that we could all live up to his high standards of integrity, ethics, religious beliefs and practice. But on the occasions when one of us perhaps lapsed a little, his love and affection was all encompassing and he supported us as everyone moved on. We all miss him.
