Deaths

I was at SHAC at the same time as George and it is sad to read of his passing in the Diary Issue 22. We were in the School Swimming Team together and, as well as being our team's captain during this period in late 1960's early 1970's. I remember George not just as a talented swimmer but also willing to put an encouraging arm around a fellow team mate like myself doing his level best to contribute positively when not quite in the same league! Sadly like other contemporaries from those late fun filled teen years I haven't seen or met George since we both left SHAC in 1971 but I just wanted to add my own small tribute to what I am sure will be a popularly supporter deserved obituary. RIP George.
