St Benet's in London Annual Talk
On Monday 19th March 2018 St Benet's in London will be hosting their Annual Talk. This year they have kindly opened up the invitation to members of the Ampleforth Society.
This year's talk is titled 'Is Religion Essentially Violent'. The speaker will be Karen Armstrong who is a provocative and original thinker on the role of religion in the modern world.
The event will take place at Charterhouse (EC1M 6AN) which is a 14th century former Carthusian Monastery in the heart of the City of London.
The talk will be followed by a drinks reception and an optional tour of Charterhouse will precede the talk at 6:30pm. The talk will begin at 7:15pm.
