Songwriting Success for OA Marek Rymaszewski
OA Marek Rymaszewski (E69) is very proud to share that his song, "Death Is Not Enough", was featured on Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders' 2016 album, Alone.
Marek's original recording was featured on his 2013 release, The Despicable Mischief Of Marek Rymaszewski, and has become a mainstay in The Pretenders' live performances on their recent US Tour.
Furthermore, in a review of The Pretenders 2016 release, Sam Gnerre of the Los Angeles Daily News noted, “But it's her (Chrissie Hynde's) version of British songwriter Marek Rymaszewski’s dark love song, “Death Is Not Enough”, that turns out to be the album’s most stunning track. Hynde sings the hypnotic chorus softly against an understated arrangement that creates a haunting atmosphere seemingly by accident, her voice fading away into the echo as the song ends.”
In addition to his songwriting success, Marek is currently busy preparing for his forthcoming musical entitled "HOOCH." This musical follows his three sell-out performances in February at the Above the Arts Studio Theatre in London. Click here to find more about Marek's upcoming performances.
