Calling all Amplefordian yacht sailors. Join the OA Benetau F40 in the Arrow Trophy regatta, 13-14 October 2018, Cowes

An Amplefordian yacht, helmed by Ruaraidh Plummer (St Hugh’s 2006), will participate in this year’s Arrow Trophy, the annual yacht race between the alumni of about 30 independent schools.

The race uses the Sunsail racing fleet of Benetau First F40’s.

If you have some yacht cruising and/or racing experience, and would like to join us, please send an email to Alex Dufort, alex@dufort.com who is assembling the crew of approximately 10 sailors.

The costs will be shared between the crew. Accommodation is either aboard (5 – 6 berths), or ashore in Cowes.

Assemble at Sunsail, Port Solent. Plenty of PARKING.

The Sunsail’s F40 fleet will be available from Sunsail at Port Solent from 1900 hrs [as their T&Cs].
Sunsail will try to make boats available before 1900 hrs but this is not guaranteed.

The Royal London welcomes participants and their families for the duration of the regatta.

Races 5-6, from 1000 hrs [top 4 teams match racing; remainder fleet racing]
Return to Port Solent by approx 1500 hrs
