Deaths

Christopher (B53), passed through Ampleforth in May 2010 on a mammoth cycle ride round the UK in aid of Help for Heroes.

He was an Old Amplefordian, then aged 75, he cycled 2050 miles, in one month, solo, raising £23,000 for Help for Heroes..

Christopher died very peacefully on Saturday 21st April in Westminster Memorial Hospital Shaftesbury, with children at the bedside, on 21st April 2018, aged 83.

Six years a widower of his beloved Molly, much loved father of Paul, Fiona, Andrew, Catherine, Madeleine, Annabel and Vicky, and Grandfather of 23.

Funeral details are as follows:

Funeral Mass at St Mary the Virgin, Queen Street, Gillingham SP8 4AW, on Friday 4th May at 1 pm, burial at Gillingham Cemetery, reception in the Vicarage Schoolroom.
