Ethics in Business during COVID-19

SLEF

On Thursday, 24th September, the Ampleforth Society welcomed its members to the fourth Virtual St Laurence Ethics Forum.

Following the initial trilogy of fora examining the implications of COVID-19 on healthcare, spirituality and education, this forum explored ethics in business during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The panellists, Colonel Nick Channer OBE (D81), Greg McDonald (B80) and Alexi Hughes (C96), offered members of the Society a privileged insight into the unique challenges experienced in recent months by both the manufacturing and hospitality sectors. The speakers shared and discussed their own personal experiences, before debating the key dilemmas facing both sectors as the second wave of COVID-19 approaches.
