Old Amplefordian Rugby Club

The Old Amplefordian Rugby Club was founded in 1985 and currently play on Saturdays in Surrey 1. They train in Battersea Park and share a ground with Old Blues RFC in Motspur Park, just south of Wimbledon.

During the regular season the Club train on Wednesdays and over the summer they play touch rugby weekly. The Club consists of a core of Old Amplefordians as well as a mix of non-OA players from other schools like St Peters, Giggleswick and even Sedbergh! Not only is there a high standard of competitive rugby played, but a very good social scene to accompany the matches.

OARFC are always very keen to attract new players from Shac, so if you are in London to work or study please get in touch. Players of all abilities are welcome, as are non-Old Amplefordians in case you have friends looking for a club.
